Brenna Klauer grew up in a small town in Northern California.  She received her B.S. degrees in Agricultural Business and Animal Science from Colorado State University.  During Brenna’s time at Colorado State, she became passionate about the meat science industry through her involvement on the 2014 Meat Judging team, 2015 and 2016 Meat Science Quiz Bowl teams, 2015 and 2016 assistant meat judging coach, along with working as an undergraduate research assistant at CSU and her internships with Cargill and JBS, USA.  Brenna is currently a graduate student at Colorado State University, focusing in meat quality under Dr. Dale Woerner. As a graduate student at CSU, she has had the opportunity to coach the 2017 Meat Judging Team and co-coach the 2017 Meat Science Quiz Bowl team.  She is very excited to be a part of the AMSA Student Board of directors, and be able to give back to an organization that has given so much to her.
