REPORTS TO: President
DESCRIPTION: Elected by membership as a member of the board of directors
PURPOSE: Participates in policy-making decisions for AMSA

Responsibilities
- Participates in formulating annual goals and objectives of organization.
- Reviews Strategic Plan for continued development of the organization.
- Votes on all policies affecting membership.
- Approves the yearly budget.
- Supports and encourages growth and development of assigned liaison committee chair/project team leader.
- Available for special committee/team assignments as determined by the board and the president.
- Participates as ad-hoc member of assigned committees/teams and submits reports to board as defined in generic board of directors position description.
- Meets specific duties and responsibilities as defined in generic board of directors position description.
