Crystal Ahrens Rouillier, M.S., P.A.S.

Crystal Ahrens Rouillier joined the AMSA staff in 2021 as Director of Outreach and Education. She brings to AMSA passion and strong knowledge in meat science education and extension. Her experience encompasses instructing meat science at both two and four-year postsecondary institutions and implementing youth meat science experiences. A graduate of the University of Arkansas and Tarleton State University and a certified Professional Animal Scientist (PAS),  currently working on her doctorate at Louisiana State University. Crystal lives on her family-owned Diamond A Ranch, raising registered Gray Brahman and commercial cattle in Arkansas with her husband, Ross. 

Our Director of Outreach and Education oversees the development and implementation of AMSA educational projects and programs, leading the effort to identify and design programs and products to meet member needs, publicize meat science opportunities, and disseminate critical scientific information to a broad range of constituents. She intentionally outreaches to new professionals and students to continue the growth and diversity of the meat industry.
