Roger Mandigo, Ph.D.

Roger Mandigo

A fundraising drive for establishing a mentorship in the name of Roger W. Mandigo, Ph.D. was started in June, 2010.  Dr. Mandigo has previously been honored by the AMSA being awarded the Meat Processing Award (1981), Signal Service Award, (1989) and AMSA’s highest award the R.C. Pollock Award in 2000.

The funds raised from the mentorship recognition will be directed to RMC program development.  The mentorship is being coordinated by a Committee led by Lynn Graves Delmore (ldelmore@calpoly.edu).

The initial fundraising goal for this mentorship is $15,000.  If you would like to help recognize Dr. Mandigo by contributing to the mentor recognition, make a donation online or contact AMSA Executive Director Thomas Powell (tpowell@meatscience.org) for more information.
