Rebecca Furbeck, Ph.D.

Research and Development Scientist

Rebecca Furbeck, Ph.D. is a Research and Development Scientist in the Food Protection and Preservation unit at Kerry. Her research centers around identifying the causative factors of microbial spoilage of foodstuffs, and helping producers implement solutions to maximize shelf life. She is particularly interested in the conjunction of classical microbiological modeling and -omics approaches for the rapid identification of specific spoilage organisms, and relevant preservative systems.
