NAMI’s NEW Protein PACT Summit

Registration Open for NAMI’s NEW Protein PACT Summit.  Members are encouraged to register as soon as possible to join industry leaders convening at the inaugural Protein PACT Summit 2021. This hybrid event, collocated with the NAMI Board of Directors and Annual Meeting will be in person on Oct. 28 – 29 in San Antonio, Texas and with complimentary digital content throughout the month of October. In addition to critical information and discussion around the Protein PACT that the Summit will offer, the first class of NAMI Emerging Leaders will be recognized at the event. 

Designed to engage the entire industry supply chain, including producers, processors and retailers, this premiere event is an opportunity to learn more about what Protein PACT means for businesses and the industry at large. Takeaways will include valuable insights on consumer demands for transparency and improvements, and how NAMI and other protein industry stakeholders plan to achieve bold goals in critical areas, and communicate this to consumers.   

Keynote speaker Hank Cardello, Senior Director, Leadership Solutions for Health and Prosperity, Business for Impact, Georgetown University, McDonough School of Business, will provide valuable insights and a unique perspective on the importance of facing consumer issues head on, and NAMI members will highlight their own work on Protein PACT metrics to date. Supply chain partner will discuss on-farm sustainability initiatives and USDA Under Secretary Dr. Jewel Bronaugh will address outcomes from the UN Food Systems Summit. This high-impact program will help attendees advance their understanding and involvement in Protein PACT.
