Texas A&M University Takes Home the Title

The 2022 International was hosted by Tyson Foods in Dakota City, NE we had 94 judgers across 16 different programs compete for the National Title.

The 2022 International was hosted by Tyson Foods in Dakota City, NE we had 94 judgers across 16 different programs compete for the National Title. Texas A&M University coached by Kaylee Greiner and coordinated by Jennifer Wyle was named the 2022 National Champion Team. The Reserve Champion Team was Kansas State University coached by Lindsey Decker and Dr. Travis O'Quinn.  AMSA, students, coaches, and coordinators are incredibly thankful for the many sponsors that have supported the meat judging program and International Contest.  A special thank you to Tyson Foods for hosting a pre-contest networking session and meal, contest facility as well as International banquet and meal.  Lastly, the contest would not have been possible without the hard work and dedication of the contest committee. The official committee was led by Eddie Behrends and committee member consisted of Dr. John Kellermeier, Dr. Morgan Pfeiffer, Dr. Dan Hale, Dr. Keith Underwood, Collin Corbin, and Darrell Dowd.
