American Meat Science Association Student Ambassador Program

Student Ambassador Program

Student Ambassador requirements include:

  • Junior and Senior meat/food/animal science students
    • Anticipated career in meat science and allied industry.
    • Involvement in meat science activities (i.e., judging, quiz bowl, research, attending SLC, Beyond Fresh, RMC).

Student Ambassador responsibilities will include:

  • Being a liaison between Meat/Food Science Club and the Student Board of Directors and provide more direct AMSA student activity promotion to their club.
  • Give presentations to FFA/4-H clubs either in-person or virtually. 

Student Ambassadors will be provided initial on-boarding training (virtual), formal meeting at the Reciprocal Meat Conference, and serve a one-year term on-boarding with the transition of the Student Board of Directors.
