2021 Virtual Southeastern Intercollegiate Meat Judging Contest Information

The 2021 Southeastern Intercollegiate Meats Judging Contest will be Saturday, April 17th, starting at 9:00am EDT.  The contest will be a virtual; the link and specifics provided by the AMSA. 

The Southeastern will be a traditional contest with 15 beef quality and yield grading carcasses, placing classes in beef (1), pork (2), lamb (1) carcasses, pork cuts (2), and retail cuts (1), along with a beef pricing class and 10 specs.  Questions will be used in place of reason, due to the virtual contest. 

Registration will be $200/university and each school can field two teams of four.  All participants will be eligible for awards.  Due to the contest being virtual, the contest is open to all schools, regardless of the number of contests previously attended.  Sign-up closes on April 14, 2021.

The contest will be organized and sponsored by The Ohio State University and the University of Kentucky.
