West Region Director

Blake Foraker is excited to serve as the new AMSA Student Board West Region Director. He is originally from Burrton, KS and completed his undergraduate degree at Kansas State University. Currently, he is a graduate student studying meat science at Colorado State University, under the direction of Dr. Dale Woerner, where he also serves as the coach of the meat judging and meat animal evaluation teams. Upon graduating with his Master's degree in December, he will pursue a Ph.D. in meat science. As a Student Board director, he is looking forward to building connections with students from other schools and creating new opportunities for AMSA student members to get involved in the meat industry.
