Monday, June 19th (Waco): Magnolia Market at the Silos and Homestead Heritage Craft Village
Time: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Cost: $67

Attendees will make a 90-mile road trip to Waco, TX.  The day will begin with a walk around the Magnolia Market at the Silos where attendees can shop for unique and rustic home decor, visit the garden, sample goods from the new Silos Baking Co., and enjoy the experience created by Chip and Joanna Gaines of the hit HGTV show Fixer Upper.  After taking in the sights at the Silos, attendees will travel a short distance to the Heritage Homestead Craft Village.  Heritage Homestead is a craft-based agrarian community that stresses sustainable, cooperative, quality craftsmanship.  After a nice lunch at Café Homestead, attendees can take a self-guided tour through the craft village, which displays works produced from blacksmithing, pottery, woodworking, and fiber arts.
 
Tuesday, June 20th: Painting with a Twist + Gourmet Lunch
Time: 9:45 am - 2:30 pm
Cost: $69

Attendees will stay local for a fun and interactive painting experience. This 2-hour session will be spent guiding the attendees through the creation of their own work of art. A group lunch reservation has been made at Madden’s Casual Gourmet Restaurant in historic downtown Bryan.  Attendees will enjoy a delicious gourmet lunch in a fun and eclectic environment. Madden’s shares a building with the Old Bryan Marketplace, where attendees can briefly walk-off their lunch while browsing a variety of unique rustic and modern home furnishings, decorative items, and other treasures. There are also other nearby shopping opportunities should the group care to explore the area further.

Monday, June 19th: Cameron Park Zoo (Waco)
Time: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Cost: $60 (children and adults, transportation, lunch, zoo pass and games included)

Cameron Park Zoo rests on 52 acres adjacent to the Brazos River in Waco, Texas.  Lush native vegetation surrounds splashing waterfalls, a picturesque lake and ponds.  And in the midst of all this beauty, visitors see that the wild ones not only survive in their natural habitat, they flourish. With natural habitats and close-up encounters, the animal collection housed at Cameron Park Zoo includes more than 1,731 animals, representing 300 species.  In August of 2009, Cameron Park Zoo opened the Asian Forest, featuring critically endangered Orangutans, Sumatran tigers, and Komodo Dragons.


Tuesday, June 20th: Grand Station Entertainment (College Station)
Time: 9:45 am - 2:30 pm
Cost: $20 (children 8 and up and adults, transportation, lunch and game passes included)

The Day Pass will include Bowling, Laser Tag (a non-playing adult may accompany small players), Mini Golf, Bumper Cars (must be 3’ tall to ride), Arcade Games and a Lunch Ticket.  Guests will have their choice of a slice of pizza, Hamburger or Hot Dog plus chips and a drink. Grand Station is a fun place that brings the active sport of bowling together with other adventurous activities that are both fun and healthy for people of all ages.
