AMSA Staff

Our Chief Operating Officer oversees all operational and administrative functions as well as educational programs and communication including RMC technical program, PORK 101, SALUMI 101, webinars. 

Deidrea Mabry joined the AMSA staff in 2007 as Program Director, from 2013-2018 she has served as the Director of Scientific Communications and Technical Programs and 2018-2019 as Associate Executive Director for and in 2019 she was promoted to Chief Operating Officer. She is a graduate of Texas Tech University where she earned her Bachelor and Master of Sciences degrees in Animal Science. Prior to joining AMSA staff she worked for the office of the President at Texas Tech and completed a congressional internship in Washington, D.C. as part of her studies. She and her husband Casey live in the Fort Worth area with their daughters Reyse, Avery, and Brooklyn.
