Martha Moenning attended Butler Community College and South Dakota State University where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science. She was an integral member of both of their livestock judging programs which was highlighted by her Junior College Academic All-American status and High Individual Oral Reasons recognition at the Senior College National Contest. As a former President of the American Junior Simmental Association and past winner of the National FFA Prepared Public Speaking Event, she accredits her personal and professional interests to her early involvement in youth organizations and agriculturally rooted upbringing. Most recently, Martha was involved in educational development and event coordination with the American Royal Association. She is thrilled to be a part of the talented team at AMSA. Martha lives on her family’s Simmental seedstock operation in Southeast Minnesota.
