Joe Cordray, Ph.D.
Dr. Joe Cordray is a long-time member and leader in the AMSA. He has made significant contributions to the Meat Science discipline and the meat industry over a very successful career. He has been recognized as for his many contributions to the meat industry at State, National and International venues. He is a Fellow in the American Meat Science Association and was named a member of the Meat Industry Hall of Fame in 2017. He has provided truly exceptional educational programs in the form of numerous extension short courses for meat industry personnel during his 25-year tenure at Iowa State University. Even with these prestigious credentials, his greatest contribution may be his service as a mentor to many leaders in the meat industry and the AMSA. Therefore, recognition with this mentorship is well earned.
