2021 Spring Intercollegiate Meat Judging Contest Information

Registration for all Spring Contests:

The registration process will only allow you to pay with a credit card. Please click on the link below and select "register" for the 2021 Spring Judging Contests. 

  • You might be asked to login to your AMSA account if you need help with your username or password please email Rachel Adams.
  • Select the contests you are registering for in the left hand column. If you have more than 8 students on your team, you will need to select the Individual Fee for each contest. Update the number of individuals in your Shopping Cart. For example, if you have a team of 10, you will purchase 2 Individual Fees per contest.
  • After selecting your contest(s) proceed to check out. After selecting your address you will be asked to pay with a credit card.
  • After confirming payment you will receive a confirmation email, this email is your receipt. If you need a different invoice please send an email to information@meatscience.org.
  • If you need to be invoiced, please call Rachel Adams 1-800-517-AMSA ext. 14

IMCA Code of Conduct & Good Manufacturing Practices

Please note that all contestants and coaches in the Intercollegiate Meat Judging program are required to complete and adhere to the Intercollegiate Meat Coaches Association's code of conduct and GMP form. Forms will be sent to students via SurveyGizmo prior to the spring contests. A webinar will be held on January 8 to go over all rules and regulations prior to signing the form.  The forms are posted below as reference.

Contest & Hotel Information:

Mountain West Intercollegiate Meat Judging Contest- January 17, 307 Meat Company, Laramie, WY

The contest will take place at the 307 Meat Company in Laramie, WY on January 17th beginning with registration for the Senior Division at 5:45am in the main cafeteria, followed by the A-division registration at 8:00am.

Lone Star Classic Intercollegiate Meat Judging Contest- February 6, Columbia Packing, Ennis, Texas

The contest will take place on February 6th beginning with registration for the Senior Division at 5:45am.  The A-Division registration will begin at 8:00am.
