Megan Iennacarro

American Royal- High Individual

Kansas State University
My name is Megan Iennaccaro. I am from Olathe, KS, and I am currently a student at Kansas State University. Being on the KSU Intercollegiate meat judging team has allowed me to gain skills that I can continue to apply throughout my lifetime. Specifically, it has taught me that teamwork can be a powerful tool for success and has also opened my eyes to the many opportunities in the meat industry. Through this program, I have formed lasting friendships both within and outside my team, enriching my life with connections I wouldn't have made otherwise. As a future veterinarian, financial considerations have always been significant in my career planning. The Gary C. Smith Scholarship has aided me in relieving financial stress, enabling me to focus on my desired education and goals. I am immensely grateful for the opportunities, friendships, and skills this program has allowed me to gain.
