AMSA Foundation Memorial Funds

Memorial funds celebrate the contributions of an individual though long-term support of key programs. If you are interested in establishing a memorial fund for an individual, contact information@meatscience.org.

Darrell Dowd Memorial Fund 

Established November 20, 2025, we will share how these funds, dedicated to supporting the AMSA Intercollegiate Meat Judging program, will be used in the weeks ahead. 

Celia Miller Memorial Fund

The Celia Miller Memorial Fund was established in 2018 to endow meat judging activities with emphasis on the meat judging internship program.

Rachel Hamilton Memorial Fund

Established in 2005, the Rachel Hamilton Memorial Fund supports the meat judging program through the underwriting of the Spirit Award.
