  • 11:45p - 12:15pm - Registration and packet distribution, Swine, Sheep & Cattle information (shrink,  etc); OSU Arena;
  • 12:30pm: Instructions - Contestants assemble for instructions for the Market Animal Evaluation Division. 
  • 12:45p – 2:00pm - Market Swine Evaluation
  • 2:15p – 3:15pm - Market Sheep Evaluation
  • 3:30p – 5:15pm - Market Cattle Evaluation

Monday, April 1
Oklahoma State University Animal Science & FAPC            

  • 7:30am - Instructions to contestants of first two teams
  • Every 15 min.  Teams report to foyer of ANSI for instructions
  • ? End               Oral presentations

Monday, April 1
Oklahoma State University Totusek Arena

1:30p  - 2:00pm - Contestants will receive packets and break into groups
2:00p  - 6:30pm - Breeding Animal Division.
6:30pm - Official Placings

Tuesday, April 2
Oklahoma State University, Food Ag Products Center 201

  • 11:45p  - 12:00pm - Contestants will receive packets
  • 12:15p  -  3:45pm - Meats Division
  • 3:45pm - Official Placings

Registration for the National Meat Animal Evaluation Contest:

The registration process will ONLY allow you to pay with a credit card. Please click on the link below and select "register" for the 2018 MAEC.

  • You might be asked to login to your AMSA account. If you need help with your username or password please email Rachel Adams.
  • You will need to supply AMSA the list of your students names, email addresses, and coach(es) names.
  • After selecting the regular registration fee, and entering your team information, select the MAEC  individual fee (left hand checkbox) and continue to the checkout.
  • At checkout, change the number of individual fees to reflect the number of contestants and coaches that will be attending and select Update Cart and proceed with checkout
  • After confirming payment you will receive a confirmation email, this email is your receipt.
