Tyler Thompson is originally from Florence, TX, and received his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M where he participated in the Quiz Bowl Team and worked at the meat production facility on campus. After his undergraduate degree, Tyler went to receive a Master's degree in animal sciences at Colorado State University where he currently resides as a Ph.D. student studying meat science with Dr. Mahesh Nair. Tyler is most excited to be helping with this year's Iron chief competition out of the many events AMSA is putting on this year.
