2021 RMC Registration Information

The AMSA staff and host team are planning for an impactful, educational and exciting 74th RMC that will take place August 15-18, 2021 at the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino in Reno, Nevada. Of course we know that we must continue to be nimble in our planning process and because of that the meeting has been built as a hybrid to include both live in person and virtual options to accommodate developments as they occur in 2021. Below we are excited to launch our in person meeting registration fees. More details on the hybrid meeting and registration fees will be released in June!  

In-Person Registration Fees:

For AMSA Members and Non-Member Registration includes: All Keynote, Concurrent and Reciprocation Sessions, Abstract/ePoster Sessions, Welcome Reception, Family Picnic, and Awards Reception and Banquet.


Additional Sessions:

Below is a list of sessions that can be added to the base registrations that are listed above.

  • Iron Chef Product Development and Kansas City Barbeque Certified Judges Program
    • Student Fee - $25
  • Kansas City Barbeque (Certified Judges Program Only)
    • Professional Fee- $55
  • Processed Meats Competition(Students only)
    • Student Fee - $25
  • Golf Tournament- $100
  • Monday Accompanying Person Program- $85 - National Automobile Museum and lunch
  • Softball- $25
  • Student Mixer - Non-Student Fee - $25
  • Tuesday Accompanying Person Program- $95 -Sonny Boys Tour and lunch
  • RMC Awards Reception and Banquet - Additional Ticket - $75
  • Fun Run - $25

Virtual Attendance Option:

AMSA will provide virtual attendance options for those who are unable to attend the 2021 AMSA 74th RMC in person. Some of the Keynote and Concurrent Technical sessions will be live streamed to virtual registered attendees.  AMSA will also be recording all the presentations (where speakers have given permission to be stored in the AMSA RMC proceedings after the conclusion of the event for all AMSA members.  More information on the virtual registration and sessions will be posted in June 2021.

Health and Safety:

AMSA will be following the State of Nevada restrictions and mandates for health safety at the time of the conference including wearing of masks, social distancing, and handwashing. Cancellation Policy:

No cancellation fee will be charged for cancellations received on or before July 26, 2021. No refunds will be made after July 26; however, registrations may be transferred to a colleague with written notification. Registration fees cannot be applied to future meetings. Refunds will be processed when received.
