Virtual ICOMST and RMC Registration Information

Early/Regular Virtual Registration Costs - June 19, 2020 – July 27, 2020

  • $200 USD – Professional/Delegates
  • $85 USD – Student
  • $0 USD - AMSA Emeritus Members

Late Virtual Registration Costs - After July 27, 2020

  • $275 USD – Professional/Delegates 
  • $125 USD – Student
  • $0 USD - AMSA Emeritus Members

Virtual Individual Event Fees:

  • $25 USD – Processed Meats Workshop and Contest – (fee per person) Students ONLY
  • $25 USD – Iron Chef Competition - (fee per person) Students ONLY
  • $85 USD – PhD Course (separate application process required)
  • If selected for the PhD course, this $85 includes both your registration to the meeting and your registration for the conference.

Registration for the virtual meeting will include access to the live events and all the posted recorded material from August 3, 2020 until December 31, 2020. Only registered attendees will be able to access the proceedings after the meeting for the remainder of 2020.    

To register you will be asked to login to your AMSA account to complete your registration, if you do not have an AMSA account you will be asked to create a profile. For International students attending the 2020 ICoMST and RMC please see the steps below.


If you do request a refund, please note that all refunds will be processed the week of July 20, 2020, and the refunded will be issued to the card used for the original payment.  Please contact Morgan Pfeiffer via email at mpfeiffer@meatscience.org or via phone at 217-689-2440 to process your request or for additional questions. Registration refunds will be accepted without penalty through July 13, 2020.

International Student Registration

For International students, not postdocs, attending the 2020 ICoMST and RMC to activate your AMSA student membership and take advantage of the student discounted rate please follow the steps below.

  1. Follow this link to create a student membership profile https://netforum.avectra.com/eWeb/DynamicPage.aspx?Site=meatscience&WebCode=verify.
  2. Send an email to information@meatscience.org that includes your name, university, and major professor/academic advisor (this will allow us to confirm you are a current student).
  3. AMSA will be in touch with you once your membership has been validated and activated – at this time you can register for the 2020 ICoMST/RMC, please allow 5-10 business days.
